Cute & Edible!

Today is our Stamp Club Meeting and the hostess picked a Halloween theme. Here are the two projects we're making this evening...
This cute & edible piece comes from the very creative and talented Diana Gibbs. Inside is a kit kat bar! Mmmmm. (By the way, you can see a tutorial on this project on Diana's blog which you can find on the left of your screen.)
I used the Ghostly Greeting DSP to wrap the bar and black and pumpkin pie paper for the belly bands with black and pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon. The pumpkin comes from the Sock Monkey Accessories stamp set watercolored in with pumpkin pie and kiwi kiss ink. I used crystal effects for the stem and leaf and the outline of the pumpkin just to give it a little more. Then I punched out with the 1 3/8" layered on top of the 1 3/4" punch.

I had a lot of fun making this card. The witch's cauldron is made out of punches. I used the large oval punch for the body, a 1 3/8" circle cut in half for the top part of the cauldron, and two horizontal slot punches for the feet.

In addition, I used the swirl from Season of Joy stamp set for the witch's brew and Occasions Collection with basic greay ink.Paper used was the Ghostly Greetings DSP, and black, pumpkin pie, and perfect plum papers all layered with black grosgrain ribbon.

Well, I better go get ready for tonight now that the projects are complete.

Talk soon!
